Well, I have finally started the process of turning my hobby into a business. This week, I filed a registration with my state, and hopefully that means I will be able to get a license soon. Then it is off to register to purchase wholesale beads and a chance to go to an upcoming bead show!! I’ve never been to a bead show, so I am really excited about this!
In other news, I have not beaded much in the last couple of days because work has been wild. In the past 38 hrs, I have spent 24 hrs working. After subtracting time for sleep, eating, getting ready for work, and traveling – about 2 hrs was left to attempt crafting, etsy, flickr, or blogging. No wonder I kept falling asleep at the computer last night!
I did have a chance to browse etsy earlier this week and was super excited to find ShySiren Vintage Style Accessories. ShySiren offers some amazing, unique designs that are reminiscent of victorian era jewelry. When I saw her Vintage Botanicals Necklace in one of my searches, I knew that I just had add to it and her to my fave’s list.
